    Dear Parents & Guardians:

Greeting preschool families.  A warm welcome to you all and I hope that the school year is off to a great start for you and your family.  We have had a wonderful first few weeks of school and it seems as though everyone has made a smooth transition.  I’m proud of our dedicated, experienced staff and enthusiastic learners!  Students have been learning the routines and listening to wonderful stories.  I have enjoyed getting to know the children and parents.  Visiting classrooms has been the best and most rewarding part of each day.  I marvel at the language and curiosity of your children as they learn and explore in their environments with their peers.

I’m the building Principal for the district’s early childhood schools including Moody School.  If you have any questions or concerns that arise at any time, please do not hesitate to give your child’s teacher or myself a call.  You may call the school and leave a message for me with Mrs. Collins, the Principal Clerk.  Mrs. Lynne Murray is the Head Teacher at Moody School and she is working closely with me to support the students, staff and families.  If you are unable to reach me, you may contact Mrs. Murray.  Mrs. Heather Azzarito is our building nurse and you may contact her if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s health.

Our school goal is to create an educational partnership with you and your child that will foster a passion for learning.  The school team is committed to providing a nurturing and challenging educational environment that will ensure your child’s academic success.  Over the next two months, students will explore a fall/autumn theme on apples and pumpkins including lessons on leaves and trees.  Please note, it is our desire to keep you informed of all that is taking place at school.  We will post classroom activities and announcements on the school web page.  Whether you’re a classroom volunteer or a member of the PTO, you are encouraged to be involved.  Through our partnership, the staff and I will ensure that our common goal is to have your son/daughter reach his/her full potential.  We look forward to working with you.

    Kindest regards,

    Mrs. Gray

    Principal
